New Student 取向
取向 at CC is designed to introduce students to all aspects of campus life—inside and outside of the classroom. 取向 is a required program for all new students. Check the CC绑定 web page often for details and updates.

8 a.m.–noon: 取向 Check-in for 学生 & 家庭, NSO Tent on Tava四女士 (雨地点: Armstrong Hall Lobby] All students and guests check in here first.
8 a.m.–noon: New Student Move-in, Residence Halls Around Campus
After check-in at the tent, proceed to your student’s residence hall (or Big 3 front desk) for move-in. 工作人员 and student workers will be available to facilitate the move-in process. Please plan to unload your vehicle and then move it back to Ed Robson Arena Parking Garage for the remainder of the day. Please reference the traffic flow and parking map.
8 a.m.–1 p.m.: Taking Care of Business
Various offices will be open for you to stop in and take care of business.

11 a.m.–1 pm: 欢迎 Luncheon, in the NSO tent on Tava四女士
学生 and families are invited to enjoy a picnic lunch.
1:30–2 p.m.: NSO College 欢迎*, Ed Robson Arena (849 N Tejon)
NSO officially kicks off with a welcome for all students, parents, and guests. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. This session is required for students.
2–3 p.m.: Parent Resource Fair, Ed Robson Arena Concourse (849 N Tejon)
学生 will be excused to attend NSO required programming. 父母 and guests are invited to explore resources from 30 campus offices and programs. 工作人员 from each campus partner will be on hand to offer information and answer questions. When you are finished, make your way over to the Cornerstone Arts Center for afternoon programming and refreshments.
3–5 p.m.: Parent, Family, & Guest Programming, Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center
Choose sessions based on your interest and schedule. All breakout sessions take place within the Cornerstone Arts Center building.
We invite you to relax and enjoy snacks while you connect with others throughout the afternoon programming. These will be available in Studio C and may be enjoyed throughout the Cornerstone Main Space. Please do not take food/drink into the theatre or classrooms. 谢谢你!!
5:00 – 7:45 p.m.: Dinner, on your own with your student, or at Rastall Café, Worner Campus Center, Main Level. 享用晚餐 Rastall or check out a local restaurant nearby; for dinner in Rastall, guests can show your wristband for entry.
7 – 8:45 p.m.: Sweet Send-Offs, NSO Tent on Tava四女士 [rain location: Armstrong Hall]
学生 and their families/guests are invited to drop in for an evening sweet treat, meet other students and families, and say your final goodbyes. Plus keep your eyes open for your chance to take a photo with CC’s mascot, RoCCy! 学生 will attend a required meeting at 9 p.m. This concludes the Family 取向 Program.
